Lego Ninjago: The Final Battle is a free fighter game for the Apple iOS platform. It requires iOS 4.3 or later. Lego Ninjago: The Final Battle was designed by the Lego Group and was optimized for the iPhone 5. Keeping true to the Lego series this game is bound to be a definite hit. If you have played Lego games for the console system such as Lego Star Wars you will recognize the gameplay as well as enjoy it. The graphics are nothing short of phenomenal and with controls as easy as anything you will soon find yourself playing Lego Ninjago: The Final Battle at every chance you get.
LEGO® Ninjago – The Final Battle Gameplay
The point of Lego Ninjago: The Final Battle is to fight against enemies named Lloyd, Jay, Cole, Zane, and Kai who are Lego ninjas. The layout of this game is similar to that of Super Smash Bros and the classic Street Fighter/Streets of Rage games. There are six levels to unlock and play as you run across each one, collecting different kinds of power-ups.
Some power-ups will allow you to throw fire and others will allow you to blast beams. There are also power-ups that will increase your energy. The controls are simple as you basically just run, jump, and attack your enemies. Whenever you kill an enemy or an enemy kills you, you get to see the classic Lego death where the pieces will all break apart in slow motion.
Although this is a Lego game do not be fooled: the battles can actually be pretty challenging. If you don’t stay on your feet you will no doubt be slashed by your enemy. This challenging aspect keeps the game fun and exciting. Each time you kill a certain amount of enemies you will gain points to put toward your character’s statistics, making him stronger and faster the more you play.
The ultimate goal is to become the Golden Ninja or a sensei. The longer you play each level the quicker it will become unlocked which will seem like no time if you quickly become engaged with the game.
LEGO® Ninjago – The Final Battle Graphics
The graphics of Lego Ninjago: The Final Battle are shockingly impressive, as always. If you are playing on an iPhone or iPod touch you will be amazed at the high-quality graphics that fit onto your tiny screen.
However, this should come as no surprise since Lego is a huge company as well as a well-known brand. I would expect nothing less of a Lego game. The splash screens are drawn in 2D and are visually appealing, keeping to the oriental theme of the game. The gameplay graphics themselves are 3D and highly impressive for a mobile device.
LEGO® Ninjago – The Final Battle Sounds
There are some really nice action slashing and Lego falling apart sounds. Love the element sounds when slashing your enemies.
LEGO® Ninjago – The Final Battle Round-up
Overall, Lego Ninjago: The Final Battle is a great game. It can quickly become addicting as you fight against your enemies. Every time your enemy slashes you to pieces (literally) you will find yourself dying to get right back into the fight. The music accompanies the theme of this game well and makes it even more entertaining. The controls are simple and easy to get used too so gamers of any age can enjoy Lego Ninjago: The Final Battle. Lego has indeed made yet another hit that is destined to become a popular pick.
Bottom line: Light-weight action-packed game that can be extremely fun.
